Anesthesia and Co-existing diseaseの新しい版が出ました。

この本の目的は，"our goal has been to provide readers with a current and concise description of the pathophysiology of co-existing diseases, current treatment of these entities, and the impact that such diseases might have on the management of anesthesia." （Prefaceより）というところにあり，私自身も，いろいろな疾患を合併する患者さんの麻酔を行うときに，この本を重宝してきました。

第４版より少し大きくなって，少し薄くなりました。
中も２色刷になり，Web上で本文を読むことが出来ます。

本を持ち歩かずとも，出先で気軽に見ることができると
外勤先などで，患者さんに合併する病気についてちょっと調べたい
時などに重宝するかもしれません。
